Step Leases -

Step Leases come in two categories. Leases where rentals are stepped up to cater to a start up operation where income would increase over the period of the lease.

In the alternative, for assets such as Buses where the maintenance expenditure will increase, the lease rentals could be stepped down in order to relieve the burden of high maintenance cost towards the later years.
